We’re only a few days away until Henry’s first day of kindergarten, and it’s bittersweet. I know all moms experience these waves of emotions as their firstborn goes off to school. While I’m so excited and proud of the person, he has become, and I’m confident he’ll be just fine… it’s just the element of big kid school that is slapping me in the face – no more skipping preschool because mom has a random day without clients. Anyways, I found myself wishing away the summer days because I’ll be the first to admit – they were hard, but man am I going to miss having my little buddies. What I am looking forward to is a somewhat picked up house and being able to work while the kids are in school instead of burning the midnight oil. I’m excited to get into a routine again.
I took Henry back to school shopping, and we went into some of our favorite stores… of course, Walmart being the first stop. Not only because they have affordable clothes, but Henry’s sure they have the best Lego and snack selection, lol! There’s also a Walmart right by our new house, so it’s become a place we frequent often. Olive’s little outfit is $12, and Henry’s outfit (including shoes) is $33! Thankful for affordable and cute clothing options for my growing kiddos! If you haven’t already – make sure to check out Walmart’s Back To School for your sweet kiddos!

These kiddos are going to miss each other hard! They’ve been each others little besties all summer long! Lots of catfights, but at the end of the day, they know they have each other!
