Kristen’s beautiful home was filled with my very best friends, who have loved on us and prayed for our family since our journey to become parents started (minus a few ladies because of a mailman/ invitation issue). It was so perfect, y’all. No games. No present opening. Just visiting with each other, noshing and sipping. I loved watching my friends (and family) from all phases of my life get to know each other. Y’all know that I can represent the major ‘cheese factor’ good, but I mean it when I say, this shower, the ladies who threw it, Kristen opening her home and my very sweet friends who came to celebrate Olive – meant the absolute world to me. I use the term ‘blessed’ a lot, I know this, but I’ve never felt more loved and blessed in my life.
I know much of the shower stemmed (<–see what I did there) from olive branches and florals (two of my favorites). The Minted invites set the tone for the shower (how cute are they?!), along with the fabric that was carried throughout and the adorable fabric backdrop made it so cute! My girlfriend, Kristen will blog about the details soon!
Lunch was pre-made and displayed in boxes with a washcloth to be used as a napkin. Plastic baby bottles were filled with Sugarfina gummy candy. There were two different sandwich-halves (sealed with this washi-tape), of course of food that I craved during my pregnancy – chicken salad and pimento cheese (yes, I know, technically I’m not supposed to eat either of those while preggo). The worlds BEST Greek orzo salad and kettle chips. All made by my talented brother-in-law. The cake was beautifully wrapped in olive branches and they had touches of baby girl things throughout the party.
The photos really say it all. It was simple, beautiful and just the best day I could have ever imagined. Thank you to everyone who showered our sweet girl, the ladies who hosted and thank you Minted for your generosity! It’s because of you all and your prayers that I’m sitting here with her today. We love y’all!

It was the sweetest afternoon to celebrate a baby girl who we’ve been praying for for so long and her precious mama. Loved spending time with your best girls & fam. And still giving props to your SIL who told me I was preggo with a boy within 10 sec of meeting me. Nailed it. Amazed.
