A confession of a shoeaholic; yup, that’s me! Ya’ll what is my problem, I’m obsessed with shoes. The hub left me last night to watch basketball with KY’s little man and I stayed at home… planted my tush on the sofa, covered in my comfy blanket, devoured an entire bag of starburst jelly beans, glass of vino too and sat there… happily… over indulging myself not only in endless calories but in the most magnificent wedges of all times… I spent HOURS ya’ll sifting through all sorts of yummy websites. To find my “carts” filled to the rim… in close to $2,000 worth the shoes. WHO DOES THAT and it was ONLY shoes. For those that know me, also now I’m not a big spender. I believe with all that I am, and all that I have if you want something, you wait… b/c eventually it will go on sale, everything goes on sale. I also don’t believe in spending high dollars on anything… b/c I know {from my professional shoe shopping experience} that you can always find a shoe that is similar to the overpriced shoe… if not, you make it! After totaling the endless amounts of shoes, I closed my computer… to find myself feeling shoe empty this morning. Nothing I pulled out of my closet was as delicious as the mass amounts of shoes that I put in my online shopping cart.

Here’s what I wore yesterday… I liked it so much b/c of my shoes. I heart them… there I go back to the shoe topic. They screamed my name over the weekend when I busted through the doors of Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse. They were originally $99 but on sale for {hence S A L E} for $60. I shop there a lot and have acquired a large amount of reward cash… so I only ended up paying $40 for them!

Here’s some pic’s that I took of my wardrobe yesterday, after work, as I was leaving our parking deck… 7th Street Station, where we park our car for work every day. Yea, that one. Thankfully, I was able to capture two days of shooting my wardrobe here b/c the view is amazing… and I’ve also fallen head over heels in LOVE with this tiled wall. This morning I was kicked out of the parking deck by the securityy guard… I’m sure your familiar if you’ve followed my facebook posts… I’ll explain in tomorrow’s blog post… until then, here’s what I’ve got!

Here I am… 5:45pm, 10th floor of 7th street station!

These would be my new ankle breakers that I’ve spoke so highly of…

Tickled to tears!!! My goodness, I have a little follower… Miss Parker!

Ginger Salmon, one heck of a photographer, a friend and one of my favorite fabric vendors just posted this image of her adorable daughter… Parker. It’s crazy to believe that someone this small could be obsessed with fashion, but from what I hear she can point out some pretty garments {insert: POOR MOM + DAD… they have no CLUE what’s in store; no clue}. This little fashionista has coupled  my STYLE along with BFF, Sarah Catherine’s style {last seen here, here and here}.

Please meet the beautiful Miss Parker… {insert: I think she’s my child!!!} ps… LOVE IT GINGER!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!

Words from her mama… Ginger…

“Sarah and Lindsey… this is for you. I had to take a photo of Parker this morning.

In honor of Lindsey’s blog, she has been getting some great fashion advice from you. The skirt and tights are all about LRT’s style. The fringe boots and vest print on the shirt are all about Sarah Catherine. I hope this puts a big ole smile on your face.

About the look…. H&M top and shirt, purchases from Mee Mee for $15. Boots from Target, purchased by Aunt Debbie. Tights (hand me downs) from Avery.” ~Ginger Salmon

Yesterday marked a great day of success… we’ve officially ended the my STYLE + your STYLE blog segment. Just to refresh your memory take a look back {my original post, Katie, Brandy, Jess, Kristen, Kristin, Sara, Kristin}. Tear drop… as I’m a little sad to say bye-bye to this series of fan posts but, no worries friends… there’s more in the works… INCLUDING a DIY fashion forward workshop. Stay tuned.

The picture below isn’t exactly what I’m wearing today. My hubby took this photograph of myself like two weeks ago. This wardrobe selection was supposed to replicate Kristen Melrose’s style but I ended up not being as much of a fan, so I didn’t use it {instead, if you remember I used this… click here for post}. So, here I am two weeks later resorting back to it… I’m pretty sure it was much cuter in person. I LOVE what I’m wearing today… maybe b/c of my brand spank’n new heels that I’m trying not to break an ankle in… but I am a fan. This beautiful morning I was ready 10 minutes before takeoff but the hubby and I had some MAJOR camera malfunctions… I’m seeing that Cannon Rebel in my future… very soon. After realizing my 3 year old point and shoot Cannon Power Shot SX100 IS, which was been dropped… several times… and it even made its way into a flaming fire this past NYE, however, it is a survivor and still capturing my exotic wardrobe selections… until this morning, fresh batteries and all but I’m afraid it’s on its last leg. {ps… I’m taking donations to fund my new cam} 🙂 kidding! After kicking and screaming and throwing my Marc {my fav bag} in the car, I’m finally over it. I do wish ya’ll could see my shoes… JT however, is not over it… and my childish behavior, so I’m afraid, I’m in the dog house ya’ll.

So until I can capture a picture of my NEW fav ankle breakers, my Azteca skirt, white cardigan with my belt that completes the look… please feast your eyes on this wardrobe selection taken a few weeks back…

Wardrobe Styling + Makeup + Hair by: LINDSEY REGAN THORNE b e  p r e t t y

Photography by: Kristin Vining

Shea + Brian take two! The red hot couple {last seen here} totally showed off their risky side while in NYC. Bloggers meet the loving duo… this look is totally them and their personalities.

Kristin Vining and I went to NYC to capture four of our clients engagement pictures. We stayed in this over the top… Goth meets Miami hotel, one of the “for sure” places Kristin and I wanted to photograph was THAT hotel, but we also knew the couple that we would photograph would have to be able to pull it off. Right away he targeted Shea + Brian. Here’s the link for the HOT boutique hotel… click here.

What color pops off black + white better than RED? We went red all the way… and b/c Shea looks divine in the color. We purchased her adorable layered strapless number from Neiman Marcus. Forgive me for forgetting the designer… but I’ve forgotten, however I do remember that the dress was $250… not bad especially b/c she’s decided to keep the dress and wear it to her rehearsal dinner.

Ladies . Ladies . Ladies . does he not look like Sugar Ray? We put Sugar Ray in a black suit, clean fit, no fuss suit. Black on black point collar shirt with a splash of red in his tie. We added a touch of pattern by introducing a black + white check pocket square.

This couple is to DIE for!!! Both so in LOVE!!!

Aren’t those shoes HOT… We purchased those from Belk… they are by Nina. Shea fell in love the minute she looked at them! The earrings that she’s wearing are mine.

Love you guys!!!!

What Are They Wearing???

Her: Red Dress {forgot the designer} purchased last month at Neiman Marcus

Her: Earrings {these are mine, I’ve had for about a month} purchased at Dillards
