A few weeks ago John and I took a much needed getaway (just the two of us!) to Atlanta. It’s an easy quick car drive from Charlotte and stayed at the stunning Nobu in Phipps Plaza. The hotel is a recent addition to the Buckhead skyline and lives up to hype – everything about this hotel is topnotch! During our stay we did a little bit of shopping, a lot of pool hopping, indulged in too many delicious meals, and I even worked off our Nobu dinner by taking a Lifetime Fitness barre class. My only regret was that I didn’t book a massage.
I’ll take you through this beautiful and fun experience that was gifted to us by Phipps Plaza.
Above is a look into the Nobu hotel lobby which blends modern luxury and Japanese tradition. Through that door you’ll enter into Nobu’s restaurant which was a food experience like no other – even their breakfast was over the top good!
A look inside our beautiful suite that the Nobu Atlanta so graciously gifted to us! We stayed in the Momiji suites, which included a beautiful living area, private bar, stunning shower, double vanities, Dyson styling tools and sweeping Buckhead views.
Nobu rooftop pool, lounge and pool was the perfect spot to lounge for a few hours prior to dinner.
Every inch of this hotel was finished with modern florals!
John and I ventured off one afternoon and enjoyed a casual outdoor lunch and shopping at the Phipps Plaza. Eye candy from every storefront! Zimmerman stole the show for me – here’s a little peek inside!
Popped into the Lego store and brought the kiddos back something fun to build! If you visit their Lego store with kiddos they even have this fun Lego experience they can enjoy!
Enjoyed a spicy margarita and sat outside at the Citizens Market with John! Best spicy marg I’ve ever had!
We enjoyed an early dinner with John’s parents at one of our favorite Atlanta spots, St. Cecilia. The interior is unmatched and the food is inspired by coastline dishes. Always a must visit for our family!
Cleaned up for dinner at Nobu!
Another favorite dinning experiences was Nobu – there are no words!
Both mornings I enjoyed our suites Nespresso before venturing out for breakfast!
We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at Alon’s Bakery! Every store and restaurant around Phipps Plaza is it’s own beautiful experience. I brought home spices, a bottle of wine and a beautiful candle from Alon’s!
Took a barre class at Lifetime Fitness while John enjoyed the rooftop pool! When I was finished I grabbed a glass of champagne and joined him for a little sun. We were truly spoiled this trip and this Lifetime Fitness didn’t feel like a gym… more like a spa with spaces to get a workout in! 😉
The perfect 48 hour getaway from Charlotte!
