I have been MIA from the ‘gram lately to soak up family time in Nebraska and then life just got busy back in Charlotte! We had a great trip visiting my family and now we’re full speed ahead with baseball, school, wedding season, Swan, etc…
Life suddenly feels normal again and I hope you’re feeling that sense of relief as well. Having Henry back in school full-time has been a blessing and knowing that Olive will be able to dance on stage during her recital makes me so happy (last year it was cancelled).
Life with weddings has been super busy which is wonderful, but I’m not going to lie… mama is ready for a weekend off or a day off… 😉
Today I am sharing some new finds I have been eyeing lately! I am loving all things color this spring- life feels so much more vibrant and hopeful and it is reflecting in my shopping tendencies! I am so excited to start getting dressed up and leave the sweatpants in 2020!

You all know I love a midi dress- there is nothing better! You feel like you are wearing pajamas, but look like a million bucks! I recently ordered this Emerson Fry midi dress in pink, but the blue version is also so stunning! They are committed to sustainability in their production- they use organic fibers, plant-based dyes, and low waste manufacturing practices! The dresses are hand made, plus so lightweight and comfy! Cannot sing the praises of this brand enough! If you are looking for a little more dressy option, this Farm Rio patterned midi dress is currently on sale & an extra 25% off!
Last summer I don’t remember buying any cute accessories… so now when I see cute handbags and jewelry I can’t help myself! The rattan bag with the acrylic chain strap immediately caught my eye! It comes in 4 colors and would be so cute for any occasion. If you’re looking for a more everyday bag, this woven basket bag is adorable and comes with a long strap so you can wear it over your shoulder- you mamas know the importance of this!
Small Shop Crushes
If you have not heard of Furbish Studio, let me gush about it for a second! Furbish Studio is an online shop with a constantly changing collection of colorful vintage rugs, original artwork, designer pillows, barware, vintage textiles, bold bedding and statement accessories from around the world. If you are looking for a home accessory or unique gift, this is the place to get it. I recently ordered these Kathleen Jones ginger jar prints and I love them so much! If you need a hostess gift or plan to host friends this summer, I love these block print napkins and matching pink rattan (of course) coasters!
My current obsession is a new Charlotte-based small biz- Byrdie Golf Social Wear. Their Instagram feed makes me want to go play golf asap! I am loving this cute blue hat for afternoons at the ball park with Henry or summer days spend at the pool!
You have definitely heard me talk about The Avenue before- it is a carefully curated online shop based in Houston, TX that carries everything from sunglasses and statement earrings to dinnerware and table cloths. I am obsessed with every single thing the founder Lindsey Zorich picks for this shop!
My absolute favorite spring purchase so far is this gorgeous jute scalloped rug from Etsy. It is beautifully crafted and comes in so many different colors- I have been moving this blue runner from room to room because I love it in every spot I place it in! I should note it is surprisingly soft & does not shed like other natural weave rugs!
This Emerson Fry block print dress is going to be a staple in my summer rotation! I also have to wear a hat all summer to protect my skin- we work too hard on our skincare around here to get sun damage or wrinkles! This rancher hat is under $60 and will be perfect from the baseball field to the beach!
As always, thank you so much for your love and support! xx LRT
