Supergoop! Sunscreen for Everyday Use

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know my go-to sunscreen has always been Supergoop! I’m in my third spring/ summer season of using the brand’s sunscreen + primers all in one along with so many of their other products for adults and children as well.

UNSEEN SUNSCREEN

As a makeup guru, it’s crucial that sunscreen use sits beautifully under my makeup and my clients (foundation and / or powders) and doesn’t get streaky, cakey, or greasy throughout the day. You all know what I’m talking about!

I love Unseen Sunscreen because it’s truly 100% invisible, and it’s a PRIMER too with SPF 40. It has a demi-glow effect that allows you to add any makeup over the top from a tinted moisturizer to a full-coverage airbrushed foundation finish. It also contains clean, skin-soothing ingredients like red algae, which helps protect your skin from the blue light that’s emitted by your phone and computer.

What’s in it?

-Red algae protects against blue light (the light from phones, computers, tablets, etc.)

-Frankincense – it soothes skin

-Meadowfoam helps hydrate skin, resulting in more even skin texture

GLOWSCREEN

Glowscreen is Supergoops! newest SPF + primer addition! It performs exactly like Unseen Sunscreen, except it has an instant glow without the sparkles. It’s a primer + sunscreen all in one that leaves your skin with a glowy, luminous, pearlescent finish. I’m so excited about this addition as it’s perfect for those who love that beachy, natural glow. It still has all of the makeup-gripping ingredients, so if you’re one who wears a CC Cream, tinted moisturizer, foundation, or powder – it will keep everything in place for hours. 

*if you have an oilier skin type and you don’t like a lot of shine, I personally would recommend Unseen Sunscreen. 

What’s in it?

-Hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5 and niacinamide helps boost moisture in the skin, leaving it feeling soft and nourished.

-Cocoa peptides helps protect from damage caused by blue light.

-Sea lavender provides powerful antioxidant protection, while also supporting long-lasting hydration.

MATTESCREEN

Supergroop!s Mattescreen is made for the those who don’t like any shine! It’s WORKS! Let me tell you. I’ve found over the years that it’s hard to find a good sunscreen (and primer) that will control oils for hours! This formula is different – it smooths your skins appearance while minimizing pores and controls natural oils. It has broad spectrum SPF 40 and blue light protection like all of the others. It’s a makeup-griipping primer (and sunscreen) so it will prolong the life of that foundation, keep it in place, smooth the surface of the skin and keep I promise SHINE CONTROL! You can wear this under foundation, tinted moisturizer, or alone!

What’s in Mattescreen?

– Argan Oil is extremely rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, this moisturizer is easily absorbed, non-greasy, and non-irritating.

– Butterfly Bush Extract helps to protect against blue light that’s emitted from electronic devices like smartphones and computers.

– White Mulberry Root will help brighten and improve the look of uneven skin tone.

PLAY

Supergroop!s PLAY SPF50 is my go to sunscreen for my body when I’m outside and for my face and body when I’m active outside – running, working in the yard, the beach, pool, etc. It can be challenging finding the right water and sweat resistant sunscreen that is fast absorbing, doesn’t leave white streaks when you sweat or get into the water and doesn’t burn your eyes. This non-greasy, sweat-resistant formula does not irritate (break out) my skin! It’s gentle and protects!

What’s in PLAY SPF50?

– Sunflower Extract is rich in beta carotene and helps protect your skin from external environmental elements.  

– Rosemary Leaf Extract has s a calming effect on the skin and is rich in antioxidants.
