We’ve had a few changes for our family in the last month. We moved, moved in with friends while we did some work to our home, then moved into our new home, Henry “graduated” from preschool (post to follow), my family came into town, and we visited the beach. Whew! It’s been a whirlwind of emotions and (happy!) exhaustion. Also, May in Charlotte has been declared as the new December – SO.MANY.EVENTS, and when you’re in the beauty industry, you spend every waking moment helping women get ready for these events. We didn’t’ have a lot of downtime…
It was nice to get away to the Carolina coast for a couple of days, and we vegged on the beach for two days straight – that’s all we did. We ate our meals outside, overlooking the ocean, we walked on the beach, the kiddos took outdoor showers (highlight)… it was just so nice to get away! Although it was cloudy, we still all stayed on top of our sunscreen and walked away without any burns thanks to Supergoop! sun care for my family! If there’s one thing I’ve overly protective of as a parent – it’s sun protection.
SUNSCREEN I USE ON MY KIDS
I blogged earlier in the spring about Supergoop! ‘s latest line of sun care for babies and toddlers, and if you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know this excites me. Sunnyscreen is SPF 50, Supergoop! ‘s gentle collection of three clean, no-compromises, 100% mineral non-nano sunscreens for babies and kiddos six months – six years. A mom created Sunnyscreen with her children in mind and approved and developed with pediatricians. It’s kept my kiddos protected this spring and summer. Sunnyscreen is perfect for daily routines and traveling to the beach, pool, parks, etc.
Supergoop! created three different sun care applications for babies and children – lotion, stick, spray! Kids are picky, moms are picky, so I like that they have some options and the stick is all I really use on their faces 24/7 – it’s just so easy to apply.
Sunnyscreen contain non-nano, 100% mineral actives, which are ideal for sensitive skin (both of my kiddos have extremely sensitive skin). They are blendable, water-resistant for 80 minutes, pediatrician-tested, hypoallergenic and free of synthetic fragrance and parabens.

DAILY SUNSCREEN FOR ME
For me on the daily, I use Supergoop!’s Unseen Sunscreen – I’ve used this for years now too. I love Unseen Sunscreen because it’s truly 100% invisible and it’s a PRIMER too with SPF40. It has a demi-glow effect that allows you to add any makeup over the top from a tinted moisturizer to a full coverage airbrushed foundation finish. It also contains clean, skin-soothing ingredients like red algae, which helps protect your skin from the blue light that’s emitted by your phone and computer.
What’s NOT In It?
No oxybenzone
No parabens
No synthetic fragrances
Why Is It Different?
It provides protection against UVA rays, UVB rays, and blue light
It’s entirely clear and blends into your makeup routine seamlessly
How Do You Apply It?
