Sunscreen for kids

Supergoop! released a new line of suncare for babies and toddlers, and I couldn’t be more excited. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I’ve been using Supergoop! for over two years. Well before they launched in stores like Anthropologie, Nordstrom, and Sephora! I also wasn’t given it – I researched the product line, purchased, tested on myself and then fell in love.  I’ve used everything too; from their primer + sunscreen, mineral sunscreen, sunscreen for the hands, mousse sunscreen, makeup setting spray, lip sunscreen, part line sunscreen… you get the picture. 😉 My Supergoop! obsession is real and I’m excited to partner with their  brand after years of using their entire line. I’ve talked about it in previous posts, but for me, it checks all the boxes, it was gentle on my skin, did not leave my face oily and it protected my skin the way a sunscreen should.

A couple of months ago, I was given Supergoop!’s new kids line, Sunnyscreen to preview before it launched and I’m happy to share that I love it and it’s kept their skin protected! Sunnyscreen is SPF 50, Supergoop!’s gentle collection of three clean, no-compromises, 100% mineral non-nano sunscreens for babies and kiddos 6 months – 6 years.  Sunnyscreen was created by a mom with her children in mind and approved and developed with pediatricians. To be honest, I’ve heard for the past year that Supergoop! was still developing their children’s line of sun protection and I’m so excited they’ve finally released it!

Sunnyscreen 100% Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50

What is it?

It’s a non-sticky 100% mineral non-nano lotion that fits into your pocket, diaper bag, or tote.  It’s also TSA friendly.

How does it feel?

Non-sticky and nourishing

Zinc Oxide

Sunflower seed oil and shea butter nourish delicate skin

Extracts from camu camu and green micro algae provide antioxidant protection

Not shown in this post – but I did want to talk about the Poof Part Powder with SPF 45.  I’ve talked about this product on Instagram recently, but it’s basically a spray powder for the hair/ part-line.  My kiddos have very sensitive, fair and light hair.  Their scalps can get fried in the summer heat.  This powder is SO easy to use and it’s not messy, oily and it’s translucent.  You spray it in the hair-line/ part-line!  It’s that easy!
