Four New Sephora Products in 2019

Good morning, ladies and happy 2019!

There will be a lot of new changes happening around this blog, and I couldn’t be more excited. In the next month, it’s going through a facelift and get ready, because a lot more content coming your way!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Powder

This is not a shock to you all – it’s 2019, but I’m still talking and raving about Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Powder. So many of you asked for my absolute favorite finishing powder, well, here you all go! Ok, first of all, you can use this with or without foundation! It’s an airbrush powder; it gives you an actual ‘airbrush’ finish.

What does it do and how does it perform?

The ingredients packed into this compact help to prevent excess shine and it brightens the complexion without making the powder settle into fine lines and creases. Sometimes, powders can make our skin appear cakey, dry, and just that powdery look. I can 500% guarantee this powder will not do that. Soft Focus Nano-Particles blur away lines and imperfections and sit like a soft micro-fine cashmere veil on top of your skin. Rose wax and almond oil hydrate the skin throughout the day and smoothes flawlessly onto the tskin. Nourishing actives work to soothe and restore skin, while light-reflecting ingredients diffuse light as it hits your face for a luminous complexion and even finish all day.

If you have an oily t-zone area, this product is perfect for you too! One swipe, one dip will cover your face. It’s excellent for retouching throughout the day as well!

I typically use color #2 on clients and myself. Although, this powder is considered to be “light coverage” it provides a hint of color, which I like!

This powder is the real deal. It’s so finely milled and light that I can set my foundation without settling into fine lines and pores. It’s a 10 out of 10 in my opinion!

Benefit’s Roller Liner Liquid Eyeliner

It’s here! It’s here!

My favorite (ALL TIME FAVORITE) mascara launched their new sister product, Benefit’s Roller Liner Liquid Eyeliner, a true matte liquid eyeliner. It glides on smooth and gives a precise line, making it easy to create a thin line for a cat-eye! It stays in place too!

You can really control the size of your line, and I love how sharp the color is. It doesn’t fade throughout the day, flake, bleed or smudge. Also, it does NOT transfer! It’s basically waterproof eyeliner, so perfect for those hot upcoming months!

There are currently two colors available, a matte black and matte brown.

YSL Volupté Plump-in-Color Plumping Lip Balm

Next up! This is not ‘new news’ for y’all… my love for YSL balms run deep. I am excited to share the YSL Volupté Plump-in-Color Plumping Lip Balm that just hit Sephora earlier this month.

They are a splurge item (ranging $34-$39), but they’re luxury on your lips, and I think owning this fancy tube will make you feel like a million bucks… they also perform like a million bucks!

As we age, we lose volume in our pout. When YSL released their plumping lip balm, I’m pretty sure I was the first to purchase online. Ok, here’s the honest to God trust. Age 35 to 36 hit me hard. Things like the corners of my mouth started sagging, and I just lost that volume. I’m also extremely picky with what I put on my lips as you all know and they’re always so dry. This little tube performs. Just like the other YSL balms that I’ve been raving about throughout 2018, this is a multitasking lip balm that gently volumizes and richly nourishes while dressing lips in high-shine, luscious color. You’ll feel a slight tingle, and sure enough, it gives a little enhancement to those kissers.

Peppermint Oil: Provides a cooling sensation. Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and locks in moisture. Coconut Oil: Nourishes lips. YSL’s first hybrid formula features a volumizing, black, heart-shaped core, wrapped in nourishing, color. Formulated with gently-tingling peppermint oil, a rich cocktail of antioxidants and vitamins, and hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture, this care-meets-color lip balm softens, smooths, and hydrates lips while gently creating a voluptuous pout!

When I purchased my color I was thinking into the spring and summer so I found my shade for those months… color: Dazzling Fuchsia.

YSL Touche Éclat Blur Primer

I’ve you’ve sent me a message lately asking for my primer recommendations then you know YSL Touche Éclat Blurring Primer has been at the top of the list. I wholeheartedly believe in investing in products that directly touch your skin. Like primers, for instance, it hits your skin before the foundation, powders, etc., etc.

Benefits to using a primer?

– Longevity, it keeps your foundations, powders, etc. in place looking fresh for hours upon hours.
– Keeps your skin looking bright, illuminated and glowy all while reducing that oily shine

Primers will help to create a smooth surface, filling in those small holes, making your skin smooth for a beautiful foundation application.
– We want a youthful glow, not an oily glow and that’s exactly what a primer will help your skin achieve. A rejuvenated, fresh, youthful glow.
