Life Lately

It’s been awhile since a Life Lately post… are these even cool anymore (lol)?  Does anyone even care (lol)?  Nothing too exciting these days… but here’s a little recap.

Also… anything y’all want to see from me these days?  I’m looking for ideas!

We’re on our 4th season of Soccer Shots and still playing in the same location in uptown.  We love the organization, coaches, parents and the church where we play.  In fact, we love the church so much that we’re considering becoming members.  Are there any members of First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte?  Beautiful services, both pastors are wonderful and they have what seems to be a great youth and children programs.  Would love to hear from you if you you’re a member.

Olive turned 3 months on March 23rd!  How???

I had my first wedding back on March 18th and it was amazing!  I was welcomed back by the best bride.

I posted my favorite sunnies for $14 and under on Instagram last week.  Seriously, $14 and less!

We spent Saturday morning at the t-ball fields!  I can’t even tell you how happy watching these games makes me (just like any mama)!  I was also snack mom, which feels so crazy!

Last week I got to walk in the Anthropologie spring fashion show and here’s how they dressed my postpartum body!  Below are the items that the stylists dressed me in.

This weekend was one of the best with just our little family!  Started with a family dinner our with my sister and her hubby.

On Saturday we went to the t-ball fields by 8:45am, family trip to Target where Henry got to pick out a new metal bat (God help us!).  By the time we got home Henry went down and the ol’ hubs and me enjoyed some down time and then we wen’t to the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.  The best family day.

On Sunday we played around the house and every Sunday Henry’s asks to go to the grocery store with John.  It’s their thing.  Do I have the only 3 year old who loves grocery shopping?  He knows that every Sunday him and Daddy have a date at the g-store.  He gets to push the kid-cart and pick out his food for the week.  Bonus: they always come home with coffee for mommy (thank you SB in the Teeter) and Henry gets the free Teeter kiddo cookie.  Thank goodness he loves the g-store… because not this mama!  We also picked out plants at a local nursery and spent the day outside doing yard work and getting our pots ready for spring.  LOVE this time of year and love spending time in the yard.
