How to dress up a pair of dirtay dirtay boyfriend jeans… SIMPLE.
Think beyond the rugged and oversized pant, it actually will bring a certain characteristic to your wardrobe. I’ve taken a Lady Gaga puff sleeve top and cinched the waist with a skinny black belt {simpler the better w/ the belt in my opinion for this ensemble}… again my opinion. I’ve added some extra sparkly, over the top jeweled mess to my neck… some might think this is a bit much but I think it rocked out well. Now to the boyfriend jeans… had these for years, best approach to purchase a pair that fits well is to make sure they aren’t tapered leg, not skinny and def not boot cut… just plain ole straight legged jeans. I would suggest buying your boyfriend jeans one to two sizes larger than what you regularly wear. If you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg I would recommend the men’s jean section at Urban Outfitters… don’t worry I just purchased a pair of white men’s Levis {<— click on the link to check them out… only $54} a few sizes too big. The shoes… girlfriends rock out your most over the top shoes. Remember you’ve got what your wearing on your upper half in my situation it was my shirt, belt and necklace… then you have your jeans… jeans are jeans… roll/ cuff the bottom of those bad boys up and flaunt those tootsies of yours!
My glasses… LOVE them, they were ONLY $10, no not kidding!! Purchased them in the mens dept NOT ON SALE at Nordi’s!
The massive hair… that’s my natual rats nest… I wore it curly and then went for a 5 mile run and took weight lifting class… so I left my hair as is… “is what it is” situation… can you believe that we ventured to Wine Loft looking like this?!
Better view of what’s on my neck…
and now for the shoe shot………..
Until next time Followers… xo!
