A few staples and a few new faves

Featuring a few new faves and a few stapes! I love researching new products and testing them out… when Charlotte Tilbury the launched their new duo-ended eyeliner from Nordstrom I immediately purchased and fell in love! The color Green Lights is gorgeous and it’s a limited edition that has a matte and sparkly (metallic) duo-ended liner.

I’m excited to share a new blush and I explain under the product why I selected this blush! As we all know by now, I started using the Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc years ago and fell in love… over the years it’s been hard to come across and it’s also super shiny – meaning a lot of highlighter. It wasn’t until someone on Instagram asked for a similar product, but without all the shimmer and shine and that’s when I discovered the Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick Compact – I’m IN LOVE!

Anyways, a few additions in this post and a lot of stapes that I’m loving!

Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick Compact (blush)

The Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick Compact (blush) is my new replacement for the Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc that is always out of stock and so hard to find. I wanted a blush that had that multi-deminsonal similar to the Shimmer Bloc look without being as shiny if that makes sense. To be honest, I didn’t realize how shiny the Shimmer Bloc was until a follower brought it to my attention and asked for a similar product without all the shimmer and shine. This blush might look intimidating in the packaging, but it’s gorgeous – and don’t get me wrong, this still has a glow, but it’s not super intense… it’s a very subtle radiant, luminosity. This brick combines both blush, bronzer with a touch of highlight. It’s beautiful!

Charlotte Tilbury Eye Color Magic Liner Duo

Ok, this is TOTALLY new to me and I’m loving it to be honest! I love that it packs the two-in-one punch with the a matte and metallic duo eyeliner pencil. I’ve shared colored eyeliner and how moms – YES MOMS can have fun with their makeup and incorporate fun colors in the past. I’ve shared my love for plum and green eyeliners in the past so when this duo ended eyeliner was released I snagged it. The pigmented shades are infused with emollient oils and natural waxes to provide an easy glide and gel-like application. The long-wearing waterproof liner lasts for up to 16 hours to take you from day to night.

Laura Mercier Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder

I rarely use a compact / pressed powder, but I love this one! I used it years ago and never repurchased, for no other reason other than I really love trying new products. Now I remember why I loved it so much… it’s a  multipurpose setting and finishing powder that perfects as it sets your makeup. It doesn’t illuminate skin imperfection, it doesn’t settle into fine lines and pores, but it does brighten your complexion giving it a gorgeous glow. I’m in color 2 – light.

 CHARLOTTE TILBURY FILMSTAR BRONZE & GLOW 

I absolutely love this product.  It’s pricer, but if you’re looking for a bronzer that isn’t too shiny this is for you!  I hate the products that have too much luster and glow that cling to those fine lines, this is not one of them!  It’s the most flattering bronzer/ highlighter I’ve ever used and great for maturing skin types as it doesn’t get too shimmery/ metallically. This set is $29!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC VANISH COLOR CORRECTOR 

This is a lightweight, full-coverage color corrector that conceals pigmentation and brightens the appearance of the under-eye area. Use your ring finger for a gentle, even application that won’t cake on your delicate under eye! I use this sometimes instead of concealer.

DIOR ADDICT LIP PLUMPING GLOSS

This is a must-have lip plumping gloss that combines maximum hydration, comfort, and shine plus long lasting plumping effects. It includes hyaluronic acid for long lasting hydration and plumping for fuller, more hydrated lips. Comes in 10 shades- I love Berry and Shimmer Nude for fall.

Chloé Perfume

My all time favorite perfume and what I wear most days! I got this bottle for my birthday from my hubby! It’s feminine, but not too sweet… I love the soft floral scent and like I said, it’s been my go to for years.

Quay Jezebell Sunglasses

I got these sunglasses back in the spring and have been wearing them consistently since then!

Cosmetic Case

I shared this makeup case back in the summer and it’s a great case that can keep your makeup, makeup brushes and skincare organized.
