It’s been awhile since I shared new beauty products. I’m always testing and refreshing my personal and professional kit with new beauty products… but as always, I only share the ones that I love! These are a few recent purchases that I made in 2020 and many you’ve seen me share here and there.

I’ve been wearing less makeup these days which has been such a nice change.  Most days I DO wear makeup of some sort, but I have fun experimenting and lately, I’m all about the no-makeup-makeup-look!  Honestly, makeup just makes me feel pulled together… if I’m wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt I still like dressing my face even if it just consists of one to three products.

Here are a few of my recently purchases in the last few months from Nordstrom (including a few crushes.) I order both online with delivery and I picked up part of my order in store as well – both we’re extremely efficient and fast. I received my order by mail in two days.

I’ve been eyeing this makeup and skincare bag for awhile now and finally purchased. It’s a cosmetic case that keeps makeup brushes, makeup, skincare, and small accessories organized. Inside there is a removable sleeve that is a brush holder and zip pocket. It also comes with a large mirror.

Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel

I’m all about trimming down the time that it takes to do my makeup in the morning and one of those areas are my brows. Prior to this fiber gel I was using a pencil which is a great way to achieve a beautiful, full, brow – however, I wanted something that gave me a gorgeous brow in a short amount of time. I read raving reviews about the Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel. It’s a microfiber-infused formula that builds color and volume. It’s smudge-proof, flake-proof and allows you to sculpt the brows and arch however you desire.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer

There’s not one product that she’s realized that I haven’t liked… another matte bronzer (I LOVE matte bronzers to sculpt the face, carve out cheekbones, etc. – I never do this with a shimmery or dewy product.) What I love about this product is the color range. It’s often hard to find a bronzer in deeper shades and I applaud Charlotte Tilbury for array of bronzing shades. I’ve shared and used Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Powder over the years – it’s always been a favorite of mine and the new Airbrush Bronzer is very similar to the Airbrush Setting Powder.

It’s a matte bronzer, but doesn’t look chalky – honestly, it gives the skin a slight healthy glow without shimmer. It’s hydrating on the skin thanks to the hyaluronic acid which delivers moisture and a smooth, silky appearance. There’s a blurring soft focus silica with adds a velvet texture and reflects light for a soft focus effect. It’s truly one of my favorite splurges of the spring/ summer that gives you a rich, sun-kissed look. You can wear this alone as a bronzer or go in and sculpt your face and chisel those cheekbones.

Nudestick Nudies Bloom Multipurpose Color Balm

One of my very favorite makeup artists that I idolize and admire always demonstrates a flawless cheek using the Nudestick Nudies Bloom Multipurpose Blush. I purchased awhile back mainly because I wanted a liquid based blush that didn’t have a lot of shimmer. This just adds a soft, sheer color which melts into the skin making your cheeks, lips, eyes look natural. What I love about it is that it makes my cheeks look fresh and again, delivers that no-makeup-makeup-look that I’ve been after lately.

A little more about this product…. it’s a multipurpose makeup stick that acts as a brightening balm and mets into the skin and brings a sheer dewiness to life.  You can use this on your eyes, cheeks and lips. It has a dual-ended design with the color on one side and a makeup brush on the other side.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Primer and Highlighter

This isn’t a recent purchase – I’ve shared this over the years and have an array of colors in my professional kit. I’ve been wearing this in conjunction with my tinted moisturizer, foundation or even alone just as is. It’s beautiful and it’s not fussy on the skin. It gives a beautiful glow with a slight tint. They consider this a completion booster with highlighting and priming elements and the ingrediants help to soft-focus, illuminate skin and makes lines and pores appear smoother. You can apply by mixing this into a foundation, wearing it under or just alone.

Dior Addict Stellar Shine Lipstick

Back in early February I travel to NYC and trained directly with Dior. It was a dream of mine to learn one on one with some of t heir artists and learn more about the products from the experts themselves. I fell in love with many Dior products and one of my splurges was this Dior Addict Stella Shine Lipstick. If you’re a bride, attending special event or in need of a beautiful special occasion or everyday lipstick this is for you! This is a sheer lipstick with a bright, vibrant and luminous shine. It’s infused with aloe, oils and waxes which protect your lips and deliver hydration for 24-hours (you know I love hydrating lip products).

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish! Color Corrector

This is a product that I’ve been using on myself (when time allows for an extra step), but 100% always on my clients and it’s makes SUCH a difference. This is a color corrector that you use under concealer or foundation. I’ve experienced with this before and you can even ditch the concealer and use this to color correct and add a bit of foundation over top by gently pressing it into the skin with a makeup sponge. This color corrector neutralizes and smooths to conceal pigmentation and brighten the appearance of the under-eye area.
