If you’ve been around here for a while, you know my go-to sunscreen has always been Supergoop! I think I am approaching my third spring/ summer season of using the brand’s sunscreen + primer all in one called Unseen Sunscreen along with so many of their other products for adults and children as well. With spring break and summer right around the corner, let’s talk about all things sun protection related and my favorite sunscreens as we move into the warmer months.
*I wanted to add a disclaimer that while this post is sponsored, I was using these products well before any collaboration or gifting*

UNSEEN SUNSCREEN
As a makeup guru, it’s crucial that sunscreen use sits beautifully under my makeup and my clients (foundation and / or powders) and doesn’t get streaky, cakey, or greasy throughout the day. You all know what I’m talking about!
I love Unseen Sunscreen because it’s truly 100% invisible, and it’s a PRIMER too with SPF 40. It has a demi-glow effect that allows you to add any makeup over the top from a tinted moisturizer to a full-coverage airbrushed foundation finish. It also contains clean, skin-soothing ingredients like red algae, which helps protect your skin from the blue light that’s emitted by your phone and computer.
What makes Unseen Sunscreen different?
-It’s a clear primer with SPF 40 with a velvety finish.
-It’s completely weightless, invisible, skin-perfecting and blue light-blocking -It doesn’t leave a white cast
-It leaves a perfect foundation for makeup that minimizes pores as it protects against UVA & UVB rays.’
What’s in it?
-Red algae protects against blue light (the light from phones, computers, tablets, etc.)
-Frankincense – it soothes skin
-Meadowfoam helps hydrate skin, resulting in more even skin texture

another product I want to introduce to you if you have acne-prone skin
ZINCSCREEN
Zincscreen is what I recommend for sensitive and acne-prone skin types. It’s 100% mineral lotion with SPF 40, lightweight, and leaves the skin flawless without any irritation. I never realized until the last few years when I started makeup lessons that so many women have such sensitivities to sunscreen. This is one that is gentle enough and protects. At first, it leaves a greasy finish on the skin, but give it a minute to dry, and once it does it sits perfectly and flawlessly on the skin. Zincscreen does have a pink-hued tint, but blends in translucent under most skin tones. In order to reduce the white cast that most zinc sunscreens leave, Supergoop! created their Zincscreen pink undertones. If you’re looking for a totally invisible formula for your skin tone, then a non-mineral SPF like Unseen Sunscreen might be best for you.
What’s in it?
-Winter cheery helps protect your skin from blue light emitted by electronic devices like your phone or computer.
-Coconut fruit extract helps increase moisture levels and decrease transepidermal water loss. In other words, it’s hydrating.
-Blueberry extract is high in antioxidants, which help protect the skin from infrared-induced free radical damage.

CC Cream – Sunscreen + foundation in one
Sunnyscreen – for babies and toddler and what I use on Olive
Mattescreen – similar to Unseen Sunscreen, but with a matte finish (primer + SPF in one)

Play SPF 50 – what I use when working outside, at the beach or pool
Unseen Sunscreen – what I call my ride or die sunscreen! Primer + SPF 40 all in one with a natural finish.
