Products! One of my favorite topics! I’m excited to be teaming up with Cristin over at The Southern Style Guide to bring y’all our July Favorites. We’re going to bring this to you monthly… and if y’all don’t already, make sure to follow her! She’s hilarious and ALWAYS has the best Instagram Stories videos. She also finds the BEST dupes… I mean, she can dupe out anything!
Most of these products that I’m loving, I’m not only using on myself, but also clients! Here’s one of my clients that I used all of these products on!
Anyways, hope y’all enjoy my favorite July beauty picks! 🙂
Tinted Lash Primer | You guys know that I love my natural lashes and take care of them. Rarely will you find me wearing a flash lash line. I’ve been working on the natural growth of my lashes this year and a few weeks ago I started using They’re Real Tinted Lash Primer. Y’all it’s $24, but I think SO worth it… you can splurge on this primer and then used a drugstore mascara.
Ok, let me tell you WHY I decided to invest in this product. I’m 6 months postpartum and my hair is falling out, along with my lashes (thank you baby girl!). I was looking into ingredients that would be great to protect and CONDITION my lashes and decided on this product. I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of They’re Real Mascara, but I do LOVE this primer. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and I’ve seen major regrowth in my lashes. I truly believe it’s because they’re so well conditioned.
I also love this product because unlike most lash primers, this is not white, it’s a brown tint. So on your natural makeup days, this is a great one to use and totally ditch the mascara.
A mink-brown lash primer that tints, defines, and primes lashes for a natural, feathery look -plus, it can be paired with your favorite mascara for boosted length and separation. When worn alone, the mink-brown primer gives lashes a natural, feathery look, and when worn as a primer, it boosts your mascara’s performance. Infused with a high-performing gel formula, it is water-resistant and conditions lashes with provitamin B5. Its custom ExtraFlex brush is specially designed to move with lashes for ultimate separation.
MILK Blur Stick | This is basically a “blur” stick that you apply after sunscreen that minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines on every skin tone for an invisible smooth, matte finish. It can also be used as a primer for a smooth finish and to lock in your makeup. I love this stick because it’s free of silicone, paraben-free, eco-conscious, innovative product line made of the best possible ingredients. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and free of dimethicone, oil, and gluten.
LORAC Unzipped Palette | I know y’all are probably sick of hearing me talk about this eyeshadow palette, but I just can’t. Y’all, it’s that GOOD! There are no words. I’ve pretty much have been using it on ALL of my clients (and myself!). Truly, the perfect bronzy shades to transition from season to season! I cannot stop using this!
There literally is not one color that isn’t breathtaking in this palette. They’re all 100% wearable and versatile. It’s blown me away. The wearability and longevity is just amazing. ZERO and I mean ZERO fall-off throughout the day.
It also comes with LORAC’s Behind the Scenes Eye Primer for crease-resistant and silky-smooth color that lasts. Worth every single dollar!
Marc Jacobs Coconut Gel Highlighter | This is a major splurge item in my opinion, but I’m hooked.
A lightweight, coconut-infused gel highlighter that can be applied to skin directly or added into foundation or primer for a universally flattering glow. Here’s how I use it… I mix one pump in with my foundation mix it together and apply to my face. I’m also using this mixture on my clients who want more of an allover glow.
This product provides a youthful-looking, radiant, well-hydrated glow that instantly lights up the completion. A little goes a long way, so this is something that could live in your makeup bag for years. Golden-peach hue flatters all skin tones with warm radiance. It’s formulated with five forms of coconut and provitamin B5 to help hydrate and nourish skin.
Urban Decay Ultra Nourishing Lip Gloss | I’ve been wearing this product for the last month and love it. I’m normally more of a plum lip color girl and definitely NOT nude… but Urban Decay NAILED it with this nude colored gloss. $20 and worth it! Super nourishing and not sticky. I have it in color “naked”.
It’s laced with ingredients that are good for your skin, including Hyaluronic Filling Spheres, vitamin E, avocado oil and shea butter to hydrate and condition your lips. Rose-hip seed oil provides an extra hit of vitamins, including vitamin A and vitamin C. The extra-long, flocked paddle applicator picks up a generous amount of gloss and gives you a nice, even lay-down of color.

Hey Lindsey! Could you do a video showing how you use the shadow palette to achieve different looks? I feel like an idiot when it comes to trying to apply eye shadow!
