We went to Charleston this last weekend to celebrate the hubby. He turns 40 on June 23rd, but this was the only weekend that I had off and who doesn’t like celebrating their birthday for a solid month, lol.

We ventured down to Charleston with two of our friends! It felt great to get away from the daily grind of work, life and kiddos, but let me tell y’all… I missed those kiddos of mine more than I ever imagined.
Charleston is one of our favorite spots and we’ve been visiting the beautiful city for 12 years now together. Before kiddos we made frequent trips down to Charleston – I’m talking five+ trips a year. We’ve typically always stayed at our favorite little three-story building that is centrally located on Kings Street, Fulton Lane Inn. It’s always our go-to and so charming! This historic inn built in 1889 is by far one of our favorites.
So charming, right? Fulton Lane Inn is kind of like Charleston’s hidden little secret.
We ventured to some rooftops! 🙂
Also, this is by far one of my favorite dresses, super soft and easy to wear… I love the frayed hem. I would say it runs big – I’m wearing an XS.

We indulged into way too many oysters!
