Most of you already know how much I love this nutritional cleanse. I’ve opened up about my struggle and insecurities with my weight since having Henry. I did my first round last January and lost 15lbs in one month. I was able to keep it off and maintain up until I started doing fertility treatments… since, I’ve gained a few back.
Needless to say it’s almost January and I cannot wait to detox. I’m excited to rid my body of these nasty toxins from bad food decisions, alcohol, etc., etc. and drop some pounds.
I won’t go into all the details, but you can read my past posts here:

If you’re interested, there’s a big ole group of us starting in the new year. It’s fun to do it with a group b/c you can hold each other accountable. Here’s my 30 day before/after pics. Email me if you’re interested: lindseyreganthorne@yahoo.com
Now onto workouts… what all are you doing to stay in shape? I love trying new things. I have found that I’m terrible with at home workouts. I need a group setting.
After having Henry I started Burn Bootcamp and did that for about 18 months. Over the summer I did two weeks of Pure Barre. I tried a class at 9 Round. I still somewhat run, but the hubs and I have made a personal commitment to run more races in 2016… just like the old days.
Lately, I’ve been doing unlimited classes at Hilliard Studio Method. You can’t even compare this to your typical “barre” class. It’s incredible and HARD! I absolutely love it. I did it back in 2012 and was hooked then, but got preggo months later and stopped my membership.
Orange Theory Fitness just opened by us and I’m considering doing a month there and continuing Hilliard. Has anyone else tried Orange Theory? Here’s what they have to say about it, sounds awesome!
“The physiological theory behind the Orangetheory workout is known as “Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption,” or EPOC. By providing you with a heart-rate monitor and POD, we can monitor your 5-zone interval training sessions that we call the Orange 60. During the 60-minute workout, you will perform multiple intervals designed to produce 12 to 20 minutes of training at 84% or higher of your maximum heart rate, which translates to Zones 4/5. This program design produces workout “afterburn” effect, which is an increased metabolic rate for 24 to 36 hours after the workout. When combining the amazing workout with EPOC, our clients burn an average of 500 to 1000 calories.”
Question is… I get bored easily. I’m over the endless burpees, jumping up on huge boxes half my height. Don’t get me wrong… workouts like that work and hard, but I’m getting too old and injure myself. What classes or workouts are you doing to stay in shape? I’d love to hear.
Xo!
