Hi ladies,
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Go Panthers! 🙂
I’m back to share my eye makeup favs – a follow up to my face favs post. Next up this week I’ll share my favorite products to finish your face (bronzer, blush, highlighters, finishing sprays and lippies).
Xo.
Primer: I’ve tried to cheat on MAC Paint Pot primer in color “painterly” for years… and in my opinion, nothing compares. This primer leaves your eyes fresh and creaseless for hours upon hours. Which is super important when a bride is in weather conditions that aren’t promising, or sweating, etc., etc. What I love the most is that liner DOES NOT crease or stain your upper lid. I apply with this Sigma brush. What primers do you swear by?
Brows: LOVE everything from Anastasia when it comes to the brows. For a super quick brow fix I rely on my Brow Wiz pencil. When I have an extra minute (literally, it’s that easy), then I’ll also use the Anastasia Beauty Express for Brows and Eyes. I use color blonde.
Eyeshadow: there’s one thing that I literally can’t ever cheat on MAC with and that’s when it comes to the eyes. As much as I adore the colors in the Urban Decay Naked palettes, the shadows pigments aren’t as good (of course, in my opinion) as MAC. Also, they are more sheer.
I love these palettes from MAC. First, I love palettes b/c you don’t have to think… about what colors you should use? What colors compliment and look good together? The questioning is done for you and it’s all beautifully displayed in a cute little case.
These pre-made palettes have been a game changer for my personal and professional makeup application(s). The large pallet is $85 ($160 value) and the smaller palettes are $40 ($53 value). REALLY good price points for MAC shadows.

Gel Eyeliner: Once again when it comes to eyeliner that goes along the lash line, I haven’t found a gel liner or brush that beats MAC. MAC Fluidline is by far the best. It’s personally held up through tears, rain, water, etc. The MAC 266 Slanted Brush creates a beautiful smooth line.
Pencil Eyeliner: I’ve been using Urban Decay 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil for the waterline area on myself and clients. Works great!
Eyelashes: There so many good lashes out there, but right now I’m loving the Huda Beauty Lashes from Sephora. They are $20, so good for special occasions.
