It’s been awhile since I posted about our life lately.
So, here you have it… our life lately, projects around the house and recent purchases!
I need to get better about posting these. If you follow me on Instagram, a lot of this isn’t news to you! 🙂
Happy Friday!

News Flash – I hate diets, I enjoy wine and I love salty-fatty foods. That being said, somethings gotta give. So, I’m doing a Nutritional Cellular Cleanse. 30 day cleanse, 2 shakes per day, healthy meal and snacks. Every week I do 2 days of pure cleanse! No food. It’s honestly not as bad as I had it hyped in my head before starting. I gave up coffee, yup! 18 days and I’ve had nothing to drink except water… so instead I drink my cleanse out of cute coffee mugs. This one was gifted to me from my friend, Allison. If you’re interested in learning more about the cleanse email me and I’ll put you in touch with my nutritional coach. lindseyreganthorne@yahoo.com
My baby has been fighting the cold weather crud. Last week he was sent home from school because of a fever. Of course, it was the one day where I had 3 clients scheduled and John wasn’t able to leave work. Somehow, Henry and I made it through the day of beautifying, nursing a sick child and a doctors appointment. I’ll soak up every moment where he falls asleep on me. Pure bliss.
My hubby is also eating healthy, which means apples in the fruit bowl at all times. I’ve been having the spring shopping fever and picked up this redicuously cute bowl from Target. I’m also loving this one.
I’m finally moving on to the bedroom. Excited to get this party started. First thing, find bedding and do something with our night stands. I just ordered a acrylic trays (20″ in length) for each nightstand. Then I’ll layer with books and frames. I also picked up these marble boxes from Home Goods. Not crazy about the knobs.
Here’s the tray! One for me, one for him! 🙂
Boys will be boys… so I hear!
I’m turning over a new leaf… I’m learning to enjoy cooking and I’m getting (somewhat) “confident” (I have a wayyyys to go) with being in the kitchen. This weekend I made a salmon dish and lettuce wraps. This is huge for me! I can’t wait to use my new olive oils from Pour Olive in Dilworth.
After a year, I feel like we’re finally putting some nails in our walls. We hung these frames from Pottery Barn. I also ordered these flower/ burst things from One Kings Lane. Loving One Kings Lane lately. I’m sure these will be out of style in a month (they probably already are), but I love them and have loved them for awhile now. They look super modern with the frames, so they might have a new home eventually.
I also ordered this rug from One Kings Lane for the foyer – which is right where the frames (pictured above) are. I swear one day I’ll incorporate a color other than blue, beige, white and grey… just not yet. 😉
I just started this book, Unglued. It’s the book that corresponds with the bible study that I’ve been asked to join by my friend, Katrina.
Since we’re on the book topic, Henry is going through the “reading phase”. All he wants is to do is read. He was given the book, “Toot” and he literally giggles at it. It’s all he wants to read at night when we’re in the rocker together. So I ordered some other books by Leslie Patricelli. He loves the little boy in these books… literally smiles the entire time we are reading them. Toot . Tubby . Huggy Kissy . Potty
I’m not sure if I ever shared our playroom wall on the blog, but here it is. It’s still growing. I’m adding more frames to the collection… gotta showcase Henry’s art!
Love this picture of my little man and me! This was taken after my “last supper”… jk! But really, it was. My last meal “out” on January 4th at Bad Daddy’s. I cannot wait for my 30 days to be over. I miss eating out! And vino! And sugar! And chips…. you catch my drift! 😉 OMG Marcos pizza sounds beyond amazing!
My sweet sis is way too generous when it comes to gift giving! She gave Henry both of these shoes for Christmas! Love these little Hunters. Busting these bad boys out for the crappy weather we’re about to get this weekend!
And the adorable Toms! Thanks Aunt Lex!
This picture was snapped over the weekend. We met friends at the park and pushed Henry on his Joovy Tricycoo, which he LOVES! It also comes in pink and orange… oh and there’s matching helmets available too!
That’s all I have for y’all! I hope all is well and I’ll start doing these “life lately” posts more often! It’s a fun little journal for me to look back on!
Happy weekend! xo
