Once again, I’m late on posting week 30… tomorrow (Thursday) I enter my 32nd week. Insane!
Dear John Henry,
Little buddy we made it to week 30… a little uncomfortable (more often than not), but it’s easy pain to handle knowing that you’re just around the corner. We’re getting so excited and stepping into our 30th week together made it that much more real. This week I started to clear out the apartment, making lots of space for your arrival. I started unpacking and organizing all of the things you’ll need and I’m not even that much more excited. I have a feeling time is going to go by very slow from this point on. I also figured out your nursery! I’m feeling so good about it and loving it… I can totally picture us spending a lot of time in there.
We love you little man and think about you every second of ever day.
All my love,
Mommy
Size of babe: A head of lettuce! 18″ and 3.2lbs!
Weight gain: We’ll I had my doctors appointment and weighed in at a 28lbs gain, but according to my scale that’s a 32lbs gain… I think… am I’m doing the math right???
Maternity clothes: Me + maternity clothes = BFF!
Gender: John Henry Thorne, whom I love dearly!
Nursery: I also posted this on the blog… but incase you missed it. Here’s where we’re leaning.
Movement: Lots of movement, which I love! He’s definitely getting bigger in here, which means his movements are a lot more stronger. Once the little man is here, I think I’ll miss his little jabs.
Sleep: It’s much harder getting comfortable at night. Between being SO full before bed… I stay full forever and then trying to get this belly situated around my body pillow… it’s tough.
What I miss: Running! I never appreciated my thighs or arms before, so as usual, I’m missing those. Being able to breathe when I’m sitting with my back against the sofa…
Best moment this week: Going to the doctor with my hubby! He doesn’t go to too many of them, but when he does it’s fun. We got to see the little man too… he’s cute and HUGE! We had dinner with our good friends on Friday and found out that The Lunsford’s are having a little man… AND we went to Atlanta for a sweet baby shower that his family hosted for us. It was so much fun, so yummy and so very sweet!
Looking forward to: Nesting in our current apartment. Our home should be done a week or two after our little mans birth. It’s time to get our apartment organized for our little boy!
Cravings: PUMPKIN CANDY CORN. Enough said! Bacon, salt, pretzels, salt, salads… you know, the usual… Wedge salads!
Symptoms: Cellulite! Thigh rubbage! AND I can’t believe I talked about this… Charley Horses, I get these ALL.THE.TIME and HAVE for some time too now!
Workouts: Only 3 different 6 mile walks and 1 Group Power class… work got in the way!
