On Friday, December 7th we celebrated my 30th (eeek!) birthday in Charleston, South Carolina. Our favorite place to be!
29 was a good year to me… in some ways it was a tough year. In many ways, outside of our struggles with infertility, it was the best year of my life. I couldn’t ask for a better best friend, our marriage has grown stronger and stronger and I’m so thankful for that. My wonderful rock of girlfriends, our loving family and the blessings of all of my awesome clients and mothers that I’ve grown close to. The relationships that I’ve formed, expanded and have grown over the past year will never be taken for granted. 29 was a fabulous year and I know that with the love that surrounds me, each year will continue to get better and better.
Here’s to 30! A little recap from the perfect weekend getaway with my hubs. My sister and her hubby were able to make it up from Florida to celebrate with me/ us as well! Such a great weekend!
Thank you all for the love, messages, texts, emails… YOU made me feel so incredibly special! xx
Coffee + breakfast + top buns + robes…. on a gloomy Charleston birthday!
Every girl needs a 30th blow out at a fabulous place like Tease Dry Bar in Charleston + the hubs got to enjoy a refreshing brewski at the 10 o’clock hour.
After Tease Dry Bar, we made one pit-stop at the Fulton Lane Inn for a mimosa and a picture.
Walking around Kings Street. We had more fun exploring furniture stores (my all time fav S.O.M.), art galleries and antique stores.
Every time we’re in town we always stop for a mid-day cup of she crap soup, a beer (for the boy) and my fav drink – the redberry spritzer at 82 Queen.
Around 4:30 – 3.5 hours from our dinner reservation the hubs insisted that we head back to the inn for a pre-dinner party. In I walked after a slight 82 Queen, redberry spritzer fog, into a beautiful display of chocolate covered strawberries, bubbly and a gift. We listened to Christmas music, the hubs even danced with me… in the middle of our room! Ahhh its was the sweetest thing ever!
Cute hubs! I love him so much!
Felt pretty special and what girl doesn’t love a little bubbly and chocolate!?!
Opened a prezzie, sipped bubbly, checked facebook and got ready for dinner!
This guy. I can’t even look at this somewhat serious pic of him without losing it. Cracks me up. Boyfriend celebrated his birthday on my day.
Sermets has been one of our favorite local spots for some time. They completed a renovation back in April… it’s so charming!
Typical Johnny White Pants.
Perfect way to celebrate my 30th birthday.
And then – my sister and her hubby arrived to Charleston!
Just in time for a little Market Pavilion roof top action!
One last stop at Social before we call it a night!
Heading back to 82 Queen for a little “bring me back to life” brunch.
Love sitting outside here!
Johnny playing tour guide!
Love day dreaming about living in one of these pads!
We continued to walk and explore the battery + water way!
Johnny loved that tree!
We reved up the afternoon and stopped by Pearlz Oyster Bar for a quick shooter!
Nawwwww… Pretty sure Bruce hated us after that!
Soaking up Charleston (once again) at the Market Pavilion roof top, before the sun went down.
We ended the night with another dinner at Sermets and then ventured to Squeeze for a final night cap! It was the best birthday!
I just happened to stumble across this page/pics of your 30th birthday and loved all of them! What a fun time!
I moved to Charleston with my husband and boys 5 years ago and seeing pics like this makes me love it here that much more!
You have great style and your outfits are really put together…… where do you shop? 😁
Anyways, thanks for your time and Goodluck with what you’re doing!
Kind Regards,
Jennifer
