I wore this on Friday… when I was cursed by this funk!  I’ve been fighting a horrible cold, sinus infection and fever ever since.  I’ve self diagnosed myself with step throat too… the doc hasn’t verified that yet, but according to webmd – I have strep and I’m dying.  The term “miserable” doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Nonetheless, here I am…truck’n!  And, providing you with an LRT fashion no-NO!  It’s really not that big of a deal… but, I try not to wear two major pieces from the same retailer {accessories: bags, glasses, shoes, ect. don’t count}!  ;) It’s one of those things… some people have the rule of never wearing a shirt in the same way more than once {to each his own}.  Both my JACKET and DRESS I recently purchased from EXPRESS… and I’m wearing them together.

I really am in a fashion funk.  I don’t know if it’s Charlotte weather… ranging from 29 degrees to 68, but it has me utterly confused and a little stressed.  I promise to be in tip-top shape come Monday… but I do have a fun little blog post for y’all tomorrow… so stay tuned.  Tata ~ loves!

Can we talk about the obvious… I have a new obsession and my hips don’t lie.  It only took me 2 gallons to fall completely hooked.

EDY’S GIRL SCOUTS THIN MINT <– please tell me your buds have visited this wonderful place of pure bliss?  I’m beyond infatuated… I wake up thinking about it.  Oh my those cookie chunks!  I don’t need a bowl… just hand over the tub.  It took me 3 days to polish off one gallon.  3 days.  And, I’m not sharing with the hubs.

You honestly can’t ever go wrong with jeans, cuffed, wedges and a stark white ‘T’.

Does the trick every time… layers on a few jewels  and slap on a fresh face.  When I’m feeling down on my wardrobe or on those fat days, I make sure to spend extra time primping!  A good hair day and red lips can turn any situation around!  Promise!

The hub + friends swear that on one of our first encounters I sported a ‘jean tuxedo’!  I probably did!  I’m not afraid to embrace my inner denim… Take your favorite pair of jeans, tight cuff and belt… then add your favorite chambray {denim} shirt and slightly tuck in, perhaps leave one of the tails out.  Then layer like before… this time add a pop of color.  ps… that’s the bag I’m loving, but in orange!  Oh and there’s nothing more fancier feeling than having one fancy tube of lipstick… go invest in one!

Remember THIS POST, back June when KRISTIN and I ventured to the Bahamas?  At the time we were working on a “secret” project and all we could really unveil was this sneak peek.

We pretty much worked the entire time… starting at 5am, in 100+ degree, June heat, until sundown!  But, we did get one well deserved rain day in.  We spent it poolside, in our swimmies with many drinks in hand.  Despite the rain it was lovely!

Fast forward 7 months… and there’s a years worth of hard work, sweat, tears and joy on the main page of LOVE, ATLANTIS!

So, the project you ask?  We {WATC} designed 5 weddings for the ATLANTIS and one for ONE&ONLY OCEAN CLUB in the Bahamas!  It was two weeks of burning the midnight oil before our trip… you might recall one of the posts HERE.  Sleepless nights, early mornings, designing everything from the ceremony to the paper displayed on the tables.  The biggest challenge was designing something that the vendors in the Bahamas have constant access to. And, of course something that could be replicated, yet altered at any given moment.

After our big trip to the Bahamas, KRISTIN began editing the images and I began the books.  Although Photoshop was already my best friend… we agreed to step our relationship to BFF4L level.  Lots of hours behind the computer, Saturdays, Sundays, conference calls… holy smokes!  Nonetheless it was an amazing experience and I’m proud to have had the role!

In real life news – I have grays, and have for some time… these images just help illuminate them to their greatest potential.  And, my real life hair color is like ash, like in a fire pit.  I need blonde strands again… craving them!

I’m also craving warmer weather, a tan, margaritas and a little vacay!

Happy almost Valentines, loves!  And, happy BACHELOR watching tonight, it’s the only reason I look forward to a Monday… nothing like a good ‘ole train-wreck!

Guess what?  I have a wish list… and I’m really hoping the hubs views this prior to the big ‘ole holiday.  Here’s a few items that I’m currently craving at the moment… btw, I love the color pink!

1. MISS DIOR - best perfume, in my opinion.  It has a dainty lady scent to it, not overpowering, to me it’s perfect!

2. CAT EYE - y’all know my shade addiction, and these are just fabulous!  These TOM FORD’S are actually my first pick, but given the price tag I decided to scale back… unless it’s a gift of curse!

3. PYTHON TRAY – Yea, I’m pretty much obsessed with this.

4. LOUBIE BOOK – I really want this as a coffee table book, but first I need a new coffee table with perhaps this THROW draped over.  Better start another wish list.

5. ALICE + OLIVIA – This dress is screaming my name, but so are these PANTS!  The back of the dress is the selling point, and it’s loose… which means you can eat + drink more.  Big plus!

6. XO’s EARRINGS – Superduper in loves with these babes!

7. BAG – We’ll I was originally crushing this MULBERRY bag, but it’s a few dollars over my budget so I decided to settle on that adorbs KATE SPADE number.

8. XO’s EARRINGS – Ok, so I couldn’t decide between these and the solid gold… naturally, I have two options.

Her face was flawless, I  enjoyed enhancing her delicate complexion.  I really played up the gold shadows and pigments to enhance her natural ice-blue, beautifully-piercing eyes.  Some lengthy lashes, a little blush and voila… she’s a bride.  We added a few extensions to the length of blond locks, curled, spritzed and she was gorgeous!
