On Saturday, SC and I had a wedding at the City Club.  Makeup and hair one heck of a group of girls.  They were great!  My bride is a special one and I’ve grown incredibly close to in the past 2-1/2 years.  So close… that I felt the urge to wedding crash with the hubs.  That’s exactly what we did.  We attended the one of a kind, laugh your bootay off of a ceremony and then headed to Vivace for dinner.

On Sunday we went for the normal Sunday 6-miler.  Had lunch at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar.  It began to rain…. ok, pour, so we headed Mez to see Five Year Engagement.  It was funny.  The best part of the movies… popcorn!  I make JT get his own bag.  I don’t share the madness and I definitely don’t want him to judge the amount of butta or salt that I shower my bag with.

Sweet, friend and photogo, ALLISON KUHN also a photographer with KVP took the time out of her busy mommy hood day to snap some pics of what I wore.  This was earlier in the week before being hit with the bug.  The nasty, terrible bug.  I’m not sure what it is with age and fevers, but the older I get the more intolerable a fever is.  It really sucks the life out of you.

I’m taking another day of recovery.  Although the sun shining into my place, which makes it hard to sit still.  I also know the minute I pop a DVD in, I’ll be sawing logs!

The approach we took for her ‘beauty plan’ was soft and delicate.  Minimal shadows and playing up the big lashes.  Smoothing her complexion for a milky-white, silky-smooth appearance.  Abby is a doll.

In October, Allison and I will head to Asheville for this duo’s wedding.  We cannot wait!

Happy Monday Friends!

What a week-and-end it’s been!  Seriously a great one!  I guess I should pick up where I left off… which was last Thursday – I also didn’t blog that day.  If you follow me on the *Insta {@lindseyreganthorne} then you’ve probably already witnessed my last few days.

I had two back to back appointments.  Dentist and OB!  I joked about it on FB… going from one end to the other!  Ha!  Both actually went great and for the first time {in a long time}, I left without any cavities.  Thank you Spinbrush!

At 5:00pm on Thursday I picked up the WANNA-BE’s little monster.  He’s 6-months of gushiness-love!  And when I say “I picked him up”, I mean that.  Drove a mommy-mobile, went to his childcare, and did the entire MIT routine.  {MIT <~ mommy in training}.  Got home, fed the piglet and then we went for a long walk.  We met DEAR JOHN at the train station… pretty sure he teared up when he saw us at the end of the hill… gave him perspective of what life might be like with our own little piggy.  The evening went over perfectly… bath and all!

Friday I spent the day doing makeup, hair and more makeup + hair.  That evening we stayed in and rested because I knew how soon Saturday early morning would arrive.

Saturday, Sarah and I headed to Winston for MONICA’S wedding… you know her, right?  The bombshell from the ACE&TJ SHOW.  The wedding venue was beyond gorgeous and her girls were as sweet as can be!  Oh, and Monica… she was a stunner.  Naturally.  One of my girlfreinds called me prior to the wedding to tell me about the sweetest little blub that Monica mentioned about me on her BLOG.  Around 4:30, Sarah and I ventured back to Charlotte… and turned a 90 minute drive into a 135 minute drive.  Of course that happened!

That evening we headed over to our friends, the Marelli’s, they are parents of my other nephew, MICHAEL.  It was their turn to babysit the WANNA-BE’s little fella.  I wasn’t about to miss an opportunity to play with both of my nephews.  Brandy and I gave the boys a bath together… it was entertaining to say the least!  I played fetch with Michael in the backyard.  He also showed me his collection of sticks… and when he say’s “sticks”, he replaces the “s” with a “d”… hysterical!

On Sunday the hub and I woke up, put on our kicks and ran 7 together.  After that it was a day of errands and relaxation.

And… here we are this morning!  ;)  Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!  Cheers to a new week!

I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda over a year ago.  We bonded over makeup + hair when she was a bridesmaids in a besties WEDDING.  Remember that one, another gorgie? Less than a year later, Sarah, Chrystal, Brandy and myself {same be pretty team from her besties wedding} made ourselves at home in the ‘oh so swank prezzie suite at the RITZ-CARLTON, CHARLOTTE.

I said it before in THIS post… It was one of those weddings, one of those group of girls and one of those days that you didn’t want to come to an end.  There’s nothing that we love more than beautifying a group of girls!

Miss Amanda, thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day!  I love you!

This was one of those weddings, one of those days where we didn’t want to leave.  Beautifying lovely girls is what we are passionate about.  It’s what we love.

You might recall THIS image of us working… Sarah + Chrystal did a fabulous job with the bridesmaids hair – pure gorgeousness!  Brandy assisted me with makeup + touchups… it truly was a fabulous day.  I’m splitting this stunning wedding into two posts… today’s it’s about the bridesmaids and their unbelievable beauty… tomorrow I’ll dive into the graceful bride.

Thank you to RICHARD ISRAEL {my personal fashion icon} the talented artist for sharing his magnificent art with us!  Captivating to say the least.  He’s also a special person to me ~ he captured my wedding through film.  Memories that we will certainly cherish for a lifetime.  If you haven’t watched it before HERE IT IS.
