… currently!
Please do note that I occasionally will go all out and apply all of the makeup that you’ll view in this post. Hardly ever do I use my bronzer… and typically with the “highlighter”, I only use beneath my brow line. That’s my disclaimer. 😉
FRUIT ACID – I typically apply a small amount ONLY where a blemish has surfaced. Typically knocks it out within 24 hours.
VITAMIN C SERUM – I apply a quarter size amount at night before bed. I often tend to apply a little more around my eyes.
SUN PROTECTION FACE LOTION – My day time lotion. {thanks CS + KY for getting me hooked}.
HEALTHY SKIN FACE LOTION – I’ve used this for years, I love the tingle feeling… I tend to use this at night. I never go a second without a moisturizer on my face.
FACE PRIMER – I swear by this. For a long time I was using PRIME TIME, however it was leaving my face extremely oily. I recently switched to MAC’s and I’m loving it.
CONCEALER – I swear to you, if there’s one new item from this post you want to try this is it! It’s the best and I’ve tried many. I love it because it’s lightweight but full coverage! However , {BIG PLUS} a lot of concealers tend to illuminate fine lines around the eyes. This one does not. Please try!
BRUSHES – I’ve had most of these for years. The red blending brush that I’ve had since high school. The brushes that I use on a daily bases are BARE ESCENTUALS, BOBBI BROWN, and MAC.
PRIMER – Love this primer, “bare study”, in the “paint pot collection”. I also use a brush to apply. I don’t know why I’m so against applying makeup with your fingers, but I am. I believe that when you use your hands you tend to be a lot more firmer and stretch your skin and you’ll pull when you apply. Which could then result in fine lines.
SHADOWS – Note: I use a shadow and MAC’s, #208 angled brush to fill in my brows.
A. MYTHOLOGY – I typically use this when I’m in a crunch for time. Just this, all over the lid… well, plus a brow highlighter. B. ALL THAT GLITTERS – Best shadow ever. I use this on the majority of my brides! It’s great to use on the inner lid and then darken the creases. C. OMEGA – This is the shadow that I was referring to {above}, to fill in the brows. I prefer a shadow over a pencil… to me, {no offense mom} but, a pencil looks a little old ladyish. A little too noticeable. D. EMBARK – Oldie but goodie. I’ve used this for years now. I used to use it all over my lid for a little more of a dramatic look. Now, I tend to use this in my creases and pair it with “all that glitters” on the inner lid {above}. E. BEAUTY MARKED – Loves this! For even more of a dramatic look I will combine or substitute this with “embark”. Lately, I’ve been wearing a smokey eye and I’ll use only this all over my eye.
LINER – I left off the liquid base liner, FLUID LINE, that I typically use on my upper lid. I apply this with MAC’s #208 angled brush. I forgot to take a picture of this though. I do use a PENCIL liner on the lower lash line. I think often times, will apply the liquid based liner in the water line.
MASCARA – Addicted! All I can say!
FOUNDATION – Loving this new find! For years now {like 8} I’ve been using BARE ESCENTUALS face powder {foundation}. However, this winter season I couldn’t find a color that matched my skin tone exactly. It’s weird, over time the color of my complexion has really changed. Then I switched to MAC’s STUDIO FIX… still couldn’t find an exact color and that was a little too oily for me. So, recently I switched to PERFECTION LUMIERE by Chanel and I love it!
FINISHING TOUCH – Little razor that will take care of all the peach fuzz! 😉
POWDERS – I lightly brush {blending two colors}, using THIS brush. Key word is, lightly swipe the powder over the foundation… lightly! The colors I combine are, C2 and C4.
BRONZER – Lightly brush across cheeks, chin and forehead.
BLUSH – It’s not as red as it appears, but it’s totally awesome!
HIGHLIGHTER – Gives your cheeks the dewy look! You can also use on your eyes! Awesome finish!
LIP PRIMER – I typically wear a darker {red} shade of lipsticks… which often times results in bleeding around the outer lip line. In the morning before applying my lip shade, I’ll just coat my kissers in the primer.
SETTING SPRAY – I’ve been using this on all of my brides and clients for some time now. I really think it works wonders! When I’m getting all snazzied up for a fancy occasion, I will spray my face. It does last all nights and it brings out a natural dewiness!
