For lack of blogging last week!
I spent a long weekend in Charleston this weekend… well really, Isle of Palm. {Brides, I will make you beautiful in Charleston, ANYTIME!} It was FUNtabulous trip and here’s a little something that I wore. Do you love my YUMI KIM dress? I got it , once again, my fav local Charlotte boutique, PETAL. Although, the bright floral print, you better believe come fall I’ll throw this on with some cable-knit tights, boots, and a cardi.
Last week was fun and crazy busy and I only blogged once, bad LRT! But, have no fear, I’m going to rewind my week and bring a glimpse into what I was up too… nothing too exciting!
For those who follow me on TWITTER and FACEBOOK are well aware of my Tuesday, a much needed spa day. Tiffany and I treated KV to a day at the spa in honor of her 37th birthday. It was an absolute BLAST! We went to RE SALON and MED SPA. I enjoyed an incredible facial and body scrub, along with having a hard wax eyebrow treatment. It was divine! No really! We enjoyed 3 hours at the spa, sipping vino, talking, relaxing and then went to POLISHED for a mani/pedi. We ended the evening at MEZ where we saw a movie… can’t remember the name, my mind was distracted with vino, girl talk and complete silliness! The next morning I was hurting…
On Wednesday my blonde went bye-bye and I welcomed a new dark color! So far, I’m loving it! I needed a change and my blonde was just getting too blonde. So I did a little changearooski and voila! New me! But, it’s already faded… we went to the beach this weekend.
On Thursday evening SPLIT SECOND SOUND hosted their yearly vendor appresh party! Being that they are a top diggity dawg entertainment group they always know how to throw a party! This years was 70’s and 80’s themed – COSTUME PARTY! It was a crazy fun night and I had the pleasure of judging the costume party alongside two local celeb’s! Holla!
My sweet Tiffany and I dressed head to toe in our flower child dresses! We actually found these the day of the party for $25 a pop! If I had to choose an era, mine would be the 70’s… for sure!
The fabulous, Amy Wiegand who does it all over at CAROLINA BRIDE magazine! By now, y’all should know my PIC, KRISTIN VINING – she also broke it down on the mic later in the evening!
It’s a contest and we’re the judges! Myself with Joey Hewell and T Strong, fashionistas with FOX NEWS! {Pardon, my fuzz iPhone pic’s}.
This little sand nugget would be Michael, son of our good friends R+B! It was the cutest thing watching him dig deep into the sandy beaches! Oh little Michael, fearless, little Michael! He had no fear and I’m totally jeal of his beach waves! BEST HAIR EVER!
We didn’t do a great job of capturing the weekend… other than a few pic’s out on the beach that I snapped of Michael we really didn’t take too many. Except for these little guys that the hub snapped on his iPhone! I love him!
That’s all I got for you love cats! I’m off now to LOWES, that’s right… I’m doing makeup + hair for all of their executives!
