The adorably beautiful Mandy! Congrats to the Mr. + Mrs. and tying the knot on April 10th!

I had the pleasure of doing makeup + hair for Mandy and her gorgeous MOH… and let me say, it didn’t take much to make these ladies look this way, they were beautiful not only on the outside but two of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. It’s always so much fun doing makeup + hair on wedding days… Typically I’ve already had the chance to get to know the bride during her consult but getting to know the mothers, friends, bridesmaids and photographers is always such a JOY!

The images posted below we captured by the talented Brian Treffeisen Photography who beautifully captured  all the details of their special day. Please make sure to check out Brian’s website at

Action shots… who doesn’t like hairspray?!

It’s not all that… but the hubby and I had about two extra minutes to spare this morning before rushing to work and I’ve been feeling extremely guiltily for my laziness when it comes to blog posts. So here you have it Followers… this is all I’ve got for you this morning. 🙂 Heading to NYC for one of my besties bachelorette parties in honor of her big day which is RIGHT around the corner with a large group of her crazy bridesmaids. I couldn’t be more excited… come on Thursday morning, get here! With that said, my body is physically here but my mind checked out… days ago. There’s nine of us girls packing into the brides best friend’s apartment who lives in the city. That’s right NINE girls in what I believe is a 15′ x 21′ pad. I cannot wait!

 Happy Bachelorette week beautiful bridey!

Bridal Party Styling

Apr 23 2010

Another service that I offer is wardrobe styling for your bridesmaids + groomsmen. In this scenario the bridesmaids already have their dresses but I will be selecting one of a kind accessories and shoes.

The boys needed their entire look pulled together. The theme of this wedding is 1950’s inspired SODA SHOP POP… Typical tux rentals range between $130-$160 so staying within that price range I’ve pulled together a totally custom look that the boys get to KEEP and wear again after the wedding!

I’ve taken the innocent 50’s school boy and gave him some modern appeal… take a look!

Gabi + David = a breath a fresh air! Critsey Rowe hooked me up with Gabi + David for their rustic romance engagement session a couple weeks back. I had the pleasure of first meeting Gabi via the telephone for a lengthy conversation, we connected instantly. The couple lives and attends medical school in Tennessee and they will be tying the knot in the middle of May. Styling the couple was a bit of a challenge at first. For starters it’s not like I could throw on my skates, scoot over to their house to inventory their closet and then hop into the mall to finish their looks. We did make it work, and I couldn’t be HAPPIER with the outcome of these beautiful portraits.

Gabi, her adorable shoe loving mother, her sister, BFF from college and myself did connect at Southpark mall while Gabi was visiting her family over Easter. From there we were able to pull together this color bursting dress and shoes! We spent the moula on Gabi and she LITERALLY brought David’s closet to my condo the morning of the shoot. From there… the rest was history.

The morning of the shoot the adorable duo showed up for some makeup + hair and pull together the last minute details of their wardrobe. Gabi, 26 has the most angelic skin… not a wrinkle on her beautiful face………… I my friends, was jealous!! From there the three of us met Critsey Rowe on location for a fun engagement session!!

Take a look for yourself… fun and colorful, huh?!

I just love the lighting!!

The dress is from Anthro… the flower head pin, I made and the SHOES are OLD LADY shoes, I know right… can you believe it??? I can’t remember the brand for the life of me but they are the old lady walking shoes… the style and color were just PERFECT for the shoot!!! Iwould TOTALLY wear them!

Little LOVE birds… they are just TOO CUTE!

Those would be embroidered roosters on her dress… who knew!?

Nothing like a junk yard… I heart the colors!

The oranges were brought in to compliment her orange flower and orange shoes!!

And a trip to the local General Store…
